There was a ton on display at the 2013 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals. It’s hard to pick favorites but truth be told, we were most excited to check out a 1969 Pontiac Firebird Ram Air IV. We spent lots of time talking with it’s owner and restorer to get the full scoop on the stunning and ultra-rare drop top. Check out our full video recap below to find out what made it so special.

Looking under the hood, it was readily apparent this Firebird had a special engine.

Level One Restoration, near Denver, CO, performed the restoration.

The vehicle was unveiled for the first time at the show since it’s full restoration.

A period window sticker highlighted some of the options on the car.

The parchment interior looked showroom fresh.

The Pontiac was painted in Midnight Green paint.
